ETHILON Nylon Suture - Non-Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Sutures

The ETHILON Nylon Suture range from Ethicon offers a trusted line of sterile, non-absorbable monofilament sutures composed of long-chain aliphatic polymers (Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6). Designed for reliable soft tissue approximation and ligation in a wide variety of clinical procedures, ETHILON sutures deliver consistent tensile strength and smooth passage through tissue with minimal tissue reaction.

Available in a spectrum of sizes, needle types, and colours (including black, green, and undyed options to enhance visibility against tissue), the ETHILON range supports precise wound closure across general surgery, cardiovascular, ophthalmic, neurological and skin closure applications.

As non-absorbable sutures, ETHILON products maintain strength over extended healing periods and are particularly suited for procedures where long-term tissue support and secure knot-tying are essential. The monofilament design also offers a smooth surface that is less prone to bacterial colonisation and tissue drag.
