Absorption occurs primarily by hydrolysis, with the material essentially fully absorbed by 90–120 days, supporting predictable wound healing timelines.

Available in both violet (dyed) and undyed variants, Q-Close Mono sutures are indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, offering clinicians dependable handling, secure knot integrity and consistent performance across sizes ranging from USP 5/0 to 2 (Metric 1.0 to 5.0).
