Ethicon Coated VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated to enhance handling, knot security and tissue glide. Absorption occurs by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing.

This USP 8-0 violet suture is supplied in a 30 cm length and is armed with double-armed 7 mm reverse spatula needles with a 1/2 circle curvature, offering excellent control and accuracy for ophthalmic and ultra-fine microsurgical procedures where tissue preservation is critical.
