This MERSILK Silk Braided Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture is designed for delicate soft tissue approximation in animal health and veterinary procedures where excellent handling, secure knot performance, and controlled tissue penetration are required. Manufactured from braided silk and supplied in black for enhanced visibility, the suture offers superior pliability and dependable knot security.

The USP 6-0 suture size is suitable for fine soft tissue closure requiring precision and control. The 45 cm suture length allows accurate placement and knot tying in confined surgical fields.

This configuration is supplied with one BV-1 taperpoint needle, measuring 9.3 mm and finished in silver. The taperpoint needle design enables smooth passage through soft tissues while minimising trauma.

The suture is non absorbable, unidirectional, and supplied without pledgets. Each sterile, single-use pack contains one strand, supplied in a box of 12, making it suitable for routine veterinary wound closure.
