The Ethicon PROXIMATE Linear Cutter TCT55 is a 55 mm surgical linear cutter supplied with a green reload and intended for use in open surgical stapling applications. It forms part of the PROXIMATE linear cutter device range within the Surgical Stapling category and is supplied ready for use with a preloaded cartridge.

This linear cutter utilises B-Form staple technology combined with a cam closure mechanism to provide controlled tissue compression and consistent staple formation prior to transection. The device incorporates four rows of staples to support secure staple line formation during firing.

The TCT55 linear cutter is designed to support up to 8 firings and delivers 56 staples per firing. It provides a cut line length of 53 mm and a staple line length of 57 mm, enabling effective tissue approximation and transection over a compact staple line. The device has an overall size of 55 mm and is green colour-coded to reflect the supplied reload.

Each unit is supplied sterile for single use, with a quantity of 3 devices per box, making it suitable for professional use in hospitals and operating theatres across general, abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery.
