Ethicon STRATAFIX Spiral PDO is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from polydioxanone (PDO) and engineered with a spiral knotless design for continuous tissue fixation.

This USP 0 suture is supplied in a 28 cm length and features a violet monofilament construction for enhanced visibility during placement. It is double-armed with two taperpoint needles, each measuring 22 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature, allowing precise bilateral tissue approximation.

The STRATAFIX spiral design enables even distribution of tension along the suture line, eliminating the need for knot tying while maintaining secure wound closure. STRATAFIX PDO sutures provide predictable absorption, minimal tissue reaction and reliable performance in soft tissue approximation. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical use.
