Designed for adjunctive haemostasis, SURGICEL™ NU-KNIT assists in the control of capillary, venous and small arterial haemorrhage when conventional methods such as ligation or electrocautery are impractical or ineffective.

Upon application, the material forms a gelatinous mass that facilitates clot formation while providing a physical matrix to support haemostasis. The oxidised regenerated cellulose is fully absorbable and is gradually resorbed by the body during the healing process.
