INTERCEED™ TC7 Absorbable Adhesion Barrier – 7.6cm x 10.2cm

INTERCEED™ (TC7) is a sterile absorbable adhesion barrier used to reduce the formation of post-operative adhesions following open pelvic and gynecological surgery.

Manufactured from oxidised regenerated cellulose, the device forms a temporary physical barrier that separates adjacent tissue surfaces during the critical post-surgical healing phase. This helps prevent tissues from adhering together while the peritoneum repairs.

Post-surgical adhesions can develop after many abdominal and pelvic procedures and may contribute to complications including chronic pelvic pain, infertility, bowel obstruction, and difficult re-operations. The use of INTERCEED™ provides surgeons with a clinically proven adhesion prevention solution when used following meticulous haemostasis.

The 7.6cm x 10.2cm TC7 sheet size provides targeted coverage for pelvic surgical sites and can be trimmed to fit the required anatomical area.
