LUXAMID Nylon Non-Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Sutures are intended for general soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term tensile strength is required. Manufactured from high-quality polyamide monofilament, these sutures are non-absorbable and designed to produce minimal tissue reaction.

The smooth monofilament construction provides low tissue drag, excellent handling characteristics, and reliable knot security, supporting precise placement and consistent clinical performance. The blue colouring enhances visibility against tissue, aiding accurate suture placement during procedures.

This variant is supplied in USP 0, 75 cm length, and fitted with a DS 40 (40 mm) cutting needle, designed to cut cleanly through tougher tissue such as skin. Cutting needles are particularly suitable for skin closure and procedures requiring controlled penetration and precise incision.
