LuxSutures LINEN Veterinary Surgical Sutures are premium non-absorbable sutures manufactured by LuxSutures from natural linen fibre. The twisted multifilament construction provides dependable handling and strong knot security, making LuxSutures Linen suitable for veterinary procedures requiring durable, long-term support.

LuxSutures Linen sutures are coated with Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (C.M.C.), which improves handling, reduces tissue drag and supports smooth passage through tissue. As a non-absorbable material, LuxSutures Linen sutures are not enzymatically absorbed and are gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, maintaining tensile strength over time.

This LuxSutures LINEN variant is supplied in USP 5, 40 cm length, and presented in a cassette format for controlled dispensing during veterinary surgical procedures. The natural beige colour provides clear visibility while retaining the traditional linen appearance.

LuxSutures Linen veterinary sutures are commonly used in general veterinary surgery, soft tissue approximation, skin closure and ligation where minimal tissue reaction, strong knot security and permanent support are required.
