LuxSutures LUXCRYL PDO Absorbable Surgical Sutures are synthetic monofilament sutures manufactured from polydioxanone (PDO), designed to deliver extended tensile strength retention and predictable absorption for surgical procedures requiring controlled, longer-term wound support.

The smooth monofilament construction allows for low tissue drag and reduced tissue reaction, supporting precise placement and reliable knot performance in clinical surgical environments. Absorption occurs through hydrolytic degradation, maintaining wound support throughout the healing phase without the need for suture removal.

This variant is supplied in USP 5/0 (EP 1), 45 cm length, and fitted with a DS 12 (12 mm) round-bodied taper needle, making it suitable for very fine soft tissue approximation where controlled penetration and minimal tissue trauma are required, such as superficial and delicate tissue structures.
