LuxSutures LUXCRYL PDO Absorbable Surgical Sutures are synthetic monofilament sutures manufactured from polydioxanone (PDO), developed to provide prolonged tensile strength retention with predictable absorption for procedures requiring precise and gentle tissue handling.

The smooth monofilament construction allows for exceptionally low tissue drag and reduced tissue reaction, supporting accurate placement and reliable knot security in clinical surgical environments. Absorption occurs through hydrolytic degradation, maintaining tissue approximation throughout the healing phase without the need for suture removal.

This variant is supplied in USP 6/0 (EP 0.7), 75 cm length, and fitted with an HR 13 (13 mm) round-bodied taper needle, making it suitable for extremely fine soft tissue approximation where controlled penetration and minimal trauma are essential, such as superficial, delicate and microsurgical soft tissue structures.
