LuxSutures LUXCRYL PGA PLUS Absorbable Veterinary Surgical Sutures are synthetic braided sutures manufactured from polyglycolic acid (PGA) and supplied with liquid to maintain optimal suture pliability prior to use. This formulation supports smooth tissue passage, consistent knot formation, and reliable intraoperative performance in veterinary surgical environments.

The braided violet multifilament construction provides excellent flexibility and dependable knot security, making LUXCRYL PGA PLUS suitable for general veterinary soft tissue approximation and ligation. The violet colouring enhances visibility against tissue, supporting accurate placement during animal surgery.

LUXCRYL PGA PLUS sutures are absorbed through hydrolytic degradation, providing predictable tensile strength retention during the early wound-healing phase, followed by gradual absorption as healing progresses. This absorption profile makes them appropriate for veterinary procedures where temporary wound support is required.

This variant is supplied in USP 3/4, packaged as a single sterile suture (1 pc), and is suitable for use in small animal, large animal, and general veterinary practice, including procedures involving subcutaneous tissue, muscle, fascia, and internal soft tissues.
