LuxSutures Luxpet® Polyester Braided Non-Absorbable Surgical Sutures with Pledget are designed for secure soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term tensile strength and reinforcement are required.

Manufactured from polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET), this braided multifilament suture delivers excellent knot security, high tensile strength, and reliable handling. A silicone coating enhances smooth tissue passage and reduces drag during placement.

This configuration features 2 × half-circle HRT 25 mm tapered needles and an integrated 6 × 3 mm oval pledget, providing added tissue reinforcement and reduced risk of suture pull-through. Luxpet sutures are non-absorbable and become gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, ensuring durable wound support with minimal tissue reaction.

Supplied in white/green for enhanced visibility, Luxpet polyester sutures are suitable for a wide range of demanding surgical procedures.
