LuxSutures Luxpet® Polyester Braided Non-Absorbable Surgical Sutures are engineered for precise soft tissue approximation where controlled penetration and durable tensile strength are required.

Manufactured from polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET), this braided multifilament suture provides excellent knot security, high tensile strength and dependable handling. A silicone coating enhances smooth tissue passage and reduces drag during suturing.

This configuration is supplied with an HRT 18 mm 1/2 circle tapercut needle, combining taper geometry with a cutting edge to support controlled penetration of denser tissues while maintaining accurate wound edge approximation. Luxpet sutures are non-absorbable and become gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, delivering permanent wound support with minimal tissue reaction.
