Manufactured from polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET), this braided multifilament suture provides excellent knot security, high tensile strength and reliable handling. A silicone coating enhances smooth tissue passage and reduces drag during suturing.

This configuration is supplied with 2 × VSP 8 mm needles (430 µm wire), offering enhanced precision and control for fine tissue and vascular applications. Luxpet sutures are non-absorbable and become gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, delivering permanent wound support with minimal tissue reaction.
