This LuxSutures® LuxPTFE Dental Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code PT50HR20, is designed for precision oral soft tissue approximation where long-term wound stability and minimal tissue reaction are essential. Manufactured from high-purity polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) monofilament, LuxPTFE provides ultra-smooth tissue passage, reduced bacterial adherence and reliable tensile strength retention.

The USP 5-0 size offers balanced tensile control suitable for implant placement, guided bone regeneration (GBR), sinus lift procedures and periodontal flap stabilisation. The 60 cm white strand ensures excellent visibility and controlled knot placement within delicate oral surgical environments.

PT50HR20 is supplied single-armed with one HR20 round bodied taper point needle measuring approximately 20 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature. The taper point configuration enables atraumatic penetration through soft oral tissue while supporting secure wound edge adaptation.
