LuxSutures Polyester sutures are silicone coated to improve handling, reduce tissue drag and support smooth passage through tissue during placement. As a non-absorbable material, LuxSutures Polyester sutures are not enzymatically absorbed and are gradually encapsulated by connective tissue, maintaining tensile strength over time.
