LUXSUTURES® SUPRAMID® Black sutures are non-absorbable polyamide (nylon) surgical sutures manufactured using a twisted and coated multifilament construction. This design offers excellent handling and knot security while reducing tissue drag compared to traditional braided sutures.

The black colour enhances contrast within soft tissue and deeper surgical fields, supporting accurate placement and controlled knot tying. SUPRAMID® sutures are gradually encapsulated by connective tissue and exhibit minimal tissue reaction, making them suitable for general soft tissue closure and skin approximation.

This variant is supplied with a DS 24 premium tapercut needle, combining a round-bodied profile with a cutting tip for controlled penetration and precise tissue handling. The 3/8 circle curvature supports efficient access and accurate wound edge approximation. Supplied sterile and single-use.
