LuxSutures® SUPRAMID® polyamide sutures are manufactured from high-quality twisted and coated multifilament polyamide (nylon), offering reliable tensile strength with minimal tissue reactivity and excellent handling characteristics.

This USP 4/0 suture is supplied in black for enhanced contrast and visibility and fitted with an HS 20 tapercut needle (20 mm) on a 75 cm strand, suitable for controlled penetration in soft tissue where precision is required.

SUPRAMID® polyamide sutures are intended for soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term wound support is required and absorption is not desired. The suture is gradually encapsulated by connective tissue and may be removed when clinically indicated.
