This LuxSutures® LuxPTFE Dental Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code PT50HR16, is designed for precision oral soft tissue approximation where excellent biocompatibility and extended wound support are required. Manufactured from high-purity polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) monofilament, LuxPTFE provides ultra-smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reaction and reduced bacterial adherence.

The USP 5-0 size offers balanced tensile strength and control, making it ideal for dental implant placement, guided bone regeneration (GBR), periodontal flap closure and soft tissue grafting procedures. The 60 cm white strand ensures clear surgical visibility and controlled knot placement within delicate oral tissues.

PT50HR16 is supplied single-armed with one HR16 round bodied taper point needle measuring approximately 16 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature. The taper point design supports atraumatic penetration and precise wound edge adaptation without cutting tissue fibres.
