Q-close Nylon Non-Absorbable Monofilament Nylon Surgical Sutures are intended for soft tissue approximation where long-term tensile strength retention and minimal tissue reactivity are required. Manufactured from high-quality polyamide (nylon), these sutures provide strength, smooth handling, and biological inertness.

The monofilament construction ensures low tissue drag, reduced risk of bacterial adherence, and reliable knot security, supporting controlled placement in routine and demanding surgical environments. The black colour offers excellent contrast against tissue, aiding visibility during closure.

This variant is supplied as a 150 cm loop suture in USP 0 and fitted with a 1/2 circle taper point heavy wire 48 mm needle. Taper point needles are non-cutting and round-bodied, designed to separate tissue fibres rather than cut them, making them suitable for dense soft tissue and muscular structures. The heavy wire construction provides additional strength and stability during passage.
